5. Tree Topology:-
- The top node which is known as root node acting as a main node and connected to the Active HUB Which provides amplification and signal processing.
- The lower nodes known as secondry nodes can have Active or Passive Hub.
- Tree topology is having limited robustness because if the top node is fail the entire topology will fail.
- Expansion is easy and number of wiring is less. Hence, tree topology is used for wide area network.
- Fault detection and correction is easy.
