Pt-Pr = Allowed loss
- If connector loss is given but number of connector is not given and there is no any intermediate link is present them it is basic type of optical fiber system having two connectors one at sender side and other at receiver.
- Link Margin/Power Margin/Loss Margin/System Margin denotes the unforeseen loss which can occur due to aging of the Links, connectors and splices.
- In case some Repeater is Present in the link then the gain will be subtracted from actual loss, because gain means amplification of signal strength.
